Ellie and Austin met in 2022 when Ellie moved back to Minneapolis and transferred to the General Mills facility in Chanhassen as a new engineer. During her first week, Austin was assigned to give her a tour, and from that day forward, they found themselves working on projects together, attending happy hours, and building a close friendship.

What began as a strong friendship—with a little encouragement from a coworker—soon blossomed into something more. In 2023, they officially started dating and quickly discovered just how deeply they cared for one another, their families, and the life they were building together.

After several wonderful years filled with adventures, laughter, and countless memories, Austin planned a quiet yet beautiful proposal at the St. Paul Conservatory. Surrounded by the beauty of the gardens, Ellie happily said “yes.”

Now, they are thrilled to begin their next chapter together as husband and wife and cannot wait to celebrate with all of the family and friends who have supported them along the way. As they look ahead to the future, they are excited for all of life's adventures—big and small—from traveling to new places and creating new traditions to building a home filled with love, laughter, and plenty of memories. Most of all, they are grateful to have found a partner, best friend, and teammate in one another. They look forward to continuing to grow together, support each other's dreams, and embrace whatever the future may bring, hand in hand.
